An oil on board of a common sparrow. Sparrows are considered a humble, lowly, pest and therefore not very appreciated. I love to paint these little creatures because they are so overlooked yet their cute little chirps make even cold days seem brighter and life just gets better and better. I think of how these little creatures are scorned by some yet they are taken care of, they are fed and have the vastness of the sky to rise above any trial.
